Hey all,

did I just oversee something in the engine settings, or is it not (yet) possible to generate a thumbnail of only the first (non-black) frame in a video file? If that's not yet possible, consider this as a suggestion ;-) Could imagine that would be of great use.

Usually first "non-black" frames are almost black of blured. So there is no sense to make such a function.

On the other hand you can try to:
1) Set "Specific time" option ON
2) Set 0 for (beg)
3) Set 9999 for (step)
4) Set "Try substitution for black frames" ON

Outstanding! That works! I really suggest that you integrate that as an option in one of the next versions!
