| I created a batch wilt a few lines like "C:\Programme\VTMaker\VideoThumbnailsMaker.exe" "C:\Programme\VTMaker\Presets\ITC_HD_4-08.vtm" "N:\Data\WWNE\ITC08\Video\2+\125_01_DRESSINGDOWN_1920X1080.WMV" and started that batch. It took approx. one or two seconds after each line had been accepted and that was it. I didn't found the thumbnails either in the defined path nor in the folder where the video is located. I tried it when I had started VTM and also after I had closed it. But no difference. I'd tested the presets with some files and it worked (manualy). Then I tried those files also via batch - No success. Afterwards I tried them once again manualy and got the message 0 done, 3 Fails. This is a little anoying, don't you agree?

| Very strange: I've tried it after I restarted the computer and now it works. If I will see such strange things once again, I will check the logfile before I restart VTM Thanks for your support so far Is it better to start VTM prior to start the Bat-File or to start only the Bat-File?

| There is no need to start VTM before running the batch file.

| Is it possible, that VTM does not like an interupted batch? I started a huge batch file to see, if all works like expected. After I was satisfied with the output I interruptes the batch with <Ctrl><C> and deleted some files to force VTM to create the Thumbs with the new settings. I recreated the Batch-File and started it once again: The same behaviour like yesterday. The content of the Diag.Log: ConsoleRender: Can't render the file, and the file name. This file worked in a previous run (as well as in the current) fine. I restarted my computer and started the Bath again -> now it works. Is there a number of limitations of Files per batch? Today I created ~ 500 files, two out of them had a few black thumbs. Caused by to much files?

| As far as i have checked - there is no limitation on the files count in the batch file. Watch for the VTM process in the Ctrl+Alt+Del process list.

| Is it possible, that VTM does not like BSPlayer by WebTeh?javascript:// [angry] I started today a batch which worked fine for 2 hours or so, then I started the BS-Player (to watch a few of my vid's) and in the batch window the command lines ran through and I got no thumbnails. Then I stopped the BSP and VTM created again the Thumbs. Maybe this was the cause of all my truobles, because the BSP is running very often on my computerjavascript:// [sad]

| It look like BSPlayer occupies codec so VTM can't use it. It is recommended not to use TV tuners and some video players while creating thumbnails.
