Can't draw technical details on left side

wacko I downloaded and installed VTM 2.1.0.6 yesterday. System is running Win2K SP4. Everything seems to work OK with one exception: I cannot get Technical Details to appear on the left side (top or bottom). Technical details appear OK on Top Right or Bottom Right, but I just get blank space when I select Top Left or Bottom Left.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

I prepared pictures of the Options dialog screen and the resulting thumbnails, but I can't figure out how to get them into this forum. What's the trick for including pictures in a forum post? I'm using Firefox 3.0.13

Please bear with me. This is my first attempt at this, and I haven't even finished my first cup of coffee for the day.

This isn't working very well. I figured out how to upload the images. I experimented using the view button until I found a way to get the images to appear in the preview, but when I try to post the message I get the error:

Silly me. I was trying to get the images to display as part of the post. The funny thing is that it worked in the preview, but I wasn't allowed to post the messages.

The details are not visible when I position them at top left. They appear when I change the position to top right.

What is written in the Diag.log file situated in the program's folder ?

There's nothing interesting in Diag.log Only two lines:

05:22:45 AM
Process Started

The time of day agrees with the time I created the .VTM file. I created a thumbnail file just before I exported the .VTM file to make sure I was exporting a set of options that exhibited the problem.

Try to play with "Preview" button in the Options window.
